Research Interests

My research interests span over general areas of dynamic systems and control theory, with particular focuses on

  • Analytical (provable) adaptive learning methods for system modeling, diagnosis, and control

  • Hybrid systems, switching control, and impulsive control

  • Multi-agent distributed learning and control

  • Applications: soft robotics, multi-robot coordination, unmanned vehicles, and biomedical signal processing.

  • 10/2023: Award: PhD students Emadodin Jandaghi and Xiaotian Chen were recently awarded “Best Student Paper Finalist” in the 2023 IEEE/ASME International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics. The news was reported on the University Website. Congratulations!!
